Yossy was in Connecticut at a friends place for the 4th, it is amazing! If I could post every photo she took, I would. Everything about it looks divine -- the charm, the faded bright colors, the grass, the lake ... there is even a room dedicated to making floral arrangements!

Here's a quick shot of where I spend the 4th last weekend, on beautiful Vashon Island. I am hoping to show you more, but that will have to happen later because this week seemed to come-and-go before my eyes!
This is the first weekend in about 5 weeks where I will be spending a full day in my home, wahoo! I'm looking forward to catching up on a few things (like dishes, laundry, you know) and relaxing. Then I'm headed to Portland on Sunday to pick up a new addition to my studio -- more on that next week!

A friend sent me this photo. I have no idea where it is, but I know it's here in Washington. Really!? I think I need to be there, even if it's just for a few minutes. Beautiful. Colorful. Outside! Oh man.
